Grief is one of our most human experiences, yet in the workplace it is often invisible. Employees carry their losses with them, but colleagues and leaders are unsure how to respond. Silence and avoidance create distance, and sometimes even long-term absence.
What organisations need is not quick fixes or rigid policies, but awareness, language and confidence to meet grief with humanity.
I help organisations open up the conversation. Through talks, workshops and tailored support, I bring grief out of the silence and into the heart of people-centered workplaces.

Through inspiring presentations and interactive sessions, I help leaders, managers and HR explore why grief matters at work, what it looks like beyond clichés, and how loss impacts teams and culture. Together, we develop a shared language and the first practical steps toward creating space for grief.
These sessions are designed to spark dialogue and inspire change.
Why it matters: Awareness is the foundation for a culture where grief can be acknowledged with humanity.
When awareness grows, deeper training can follow.
In these workshops we practice real conversations, explore how to support colleagues with confidence, and strengthen compassion and resilience within teams. Step by step, organisations learn how to embed grief awareness into their culture, making care and connection part of everyday leadership.
Why it matters: Training builds the confidence and skills to turn empathy into daily practice.

After a bereavement in the workplace, I offer facilitation, grief circles and guidance for teams. These gatherings create safe ground for sharing, listening and processing together, helping colleagues find strength and connection in difficult times.
Why it matters: Immediate support helps restore trust and connection after loss touches a team.
A welcoming place for employees, managers or HR to reach out for support. For employees, it offers a safe outlet to share what they’re going through or to ask for what they need. For managers and HR, it is a confidential space to bring questions or explore how to respond with care. The Grief Desk provides immediate, human and flexible support, without the formality of a full program.
Why it matters: Easy access ensures no one has to carry their questions or pain alone.

Alongside group and organisational work, I provide individual coaching and grief support sessions for employees.
These 1:1 meetings offer a confidential space to process loss, with mindful and compassionate guidance. Sessions can be arranged directly or through the employer, ensuring personal support is always available when it’s most needed.
Why it matters: Personalised support meets employees where they are, fostering resilience and well-being.
Sometimes an employee needs more time and space than the workplace can provide. I offer 6-day grief retreats in Portugal, where participants step away from daily demands and find a safe environment in nature. Through mindfulness, ritual and gentle guidance, they are invited to breathe, connect and begin to heal. Organisations can sponsor or refer employees to attend as part of their wellbeing support.
Why it matters: Retreats create the depth and space employees need to process grief and return with renewed strength.

I am based in Portugal, but I work internationally with organisations in both English and Dutch. Some elements of my work, like the Grief Desk and 1:1 employee support, are perfectly suited for online guidance. Larger programs, trainings or talks are best experienced in person, and I am available to travel for those.
At the heart of all my work lies connection: creating spaces where grief and humanity can be seen, heard and shared. Whether online or in person, I bring presence, compassion and practical guidance to support both employees and organisations.
